Test Rant.

I need to rant. I just took two accounting quizzes and got C's on both. I'm a perfectionist and so of course this doesn't sit well with me. I loathe quizzes and tests because I'm a horrible test taker and I don't think it's a fair measurement of comprehension. I used to be an Ed major and we specifically learned that in our classrooms we had to make sure we had several different methods of teaching and measuring comprehension for all our students. Why is it then that most of life is made up of tests? Most college classes grades are weighed solely on final exams and quizzes (which I've always done horrible on). Or take the military for example...our guys get promoted if they pass a test! What happened to working hard and being good at your job? All of this I feel, is a part of the humbling process God has been teaching me lately. I'm thankful that I passed it's just hard putting so much time into studying and not seeing the fruit of it.
