Hi, I'm Dianne :)
I'm a believer in Christ, proud military wife, and mother to an adorable, 15-month old boy. We are currently stationed in Northern California, and although far from home, we've really grown to love it here.
My faith is God is the foundation of my life. I am by no means perfect, but I strive to be so much more than just a Sunday-church goer. The difference between religion and authentic Christianity is the realization that I am in desperate need of a Savior - someone to fill this empty, unfulfilling life - and it's the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ that changes me. I am a new creation in Christ and the freedom it brings causes me to long so much for you to know Christ too. One thing that I have been learning lately is that my identity is found in Christ alone. My position as a mother, job as a photographer or anything else are simply roles I've been given to bring glory to His name.
I officially opened my wedding and portrait photography business, JAGOFOTO, in spring of 2010. Running my own business has taught me so many life lessons and it's been incredible to see how both the business and I have grown in the whole process. Since the new addition of my little boy Kaiden, I've limited the number of sessions I take on so I can take on my new role as a full time mommy :)
I love spending time with my family, trying out new recipes, Back to the Future movie marathons, late night conversations with the husband, sipping on cucumber water, Pandora, making my son giggle, art museums, knitting, decorating our home, blogging and time period films.
We have family and friends spanning from Pennsylvania to Washington state, Germany to China and the Philippines. I am so thankful for the opportunity to blog and share what's going on in our lives. I pray that God uses me to inspire you to read the Word deeper, photograph + craft more and maybe even start a blog of your own :)
